Frequently Asked Questions

Click here to register for the whole conference or only attending on Sabbath of the event.
Once registered, please download or print your tickets to be shown at the registration table on the day of the event.

NZYC 2026 - THY WAY will be held from the 2nd-5th of April 2026 in Wellington, New Zealand.
The venue will be at the Silverstream Retreat, 3 Reynolds Bach Drive, Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt, Wellington.

To attend the whole conference, below are the prices:
Early Bird Registration:
Available from 15th December 2025 - 31is January 2026.
Cost: $139.00 (plus booking and payment fees)
Standard Registration:
Available from 31st January 2026
Cost: $159.00 (plus booking and payment fees)
Late Registration:
Starts from 19th of March 2026
Cost: $179.00 (plus booking and payment fees)

Sabbath programming is free all day Saturday. If you plan to attend during this time, please complete a registration, and select the free Sabbath Day Access Only event ticket option.
The Friday evening and Sunday morning programs are not free to attend.
There are no free meals provided on Sabbath.
If you would like meals included in your registration, please purchase the Sabbath Day Access Only - Meals included Ticket.

Travel: If coming outside of Wellington - book flights via Jetstar or Air New Zealand or travel via car through own arrangements.
Transport: If you are using public transport, at the airport there is a vending machine which sell snapper cards. You can download the snapper app to top up or find a snapper kiosk or store that can top up a snapper. These are used for buses and trains around Wellington expect the airport shuttle bus. Although, cash is accepted.

- Uber is good for short distances but can be pricey
Travel Time: Wellington currently has construction on the main highway which is causing congestion and traffic. Please allow extra travel time especially going to and from the airport during peak times (7-9am, 4:30-7pm). Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt have areas that have traffic during peak times as well. Please plan accordingly for travel. It could take 1 hour from Silverstream retreat to Wellington Airport. Google maps gives good indications of traffic times/delays.
Accomodation: Book shared dorm room via registration link here or individuals can organise personal accomodation (AirBnB, hotel, friend’s house etc.)

The best and easiest ways to get to NZYC 2026 from your accommodation to Silverstream Retreat is to hire a car, travel by Uber, or arrange a carpool with a friend!
Silverstream Retreat have plenty of parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you choose not to rent a car, there are convenient transportation options available:
Uber: You can use Uber for on-demand rides around Christchurch. It's a flexible and easy way to get to your destination. Uber is good for short distances but can be pricey.
Wellington Metro: The local public transport system offers buses that cover various routes throughout the city and surrounding areas. For schedules and route information, visit Wellington Metro

All meals served at the conference will be vegetarian. Meals (breakfast is included in registration, Lunch and/or Dinner can be added through registration. Please specify any dietary requirements or allergies on the online registration form, so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
Please note that NZYC is not liable for any issues resulting from inaccurate declarations and cannot guarantee a meal if dietary requirements are not specified correctly or if notified after the deadline.

Accessing from Silverstream retreat- car would be most advisable. Food Delivery like Door dash may be a good option

NZYC 2025 Conference registration fees and exhibit fees are non-refundable. In case of cancellation, the registrant should notify NZYC asap, but no refund will be given.

Things to do in Wellington
- Go up Mt Victoria Lookout
- Visit Te Papa Museum
- Take a walk at Wellington waterfront
- Take the cable car to the botanical gardens (look out for the rose garden area!)
- Watch the sunset at Petone Beach. Visit the Settlers Museum to look at NZ history
- Visit Days Bay Eastbourne
- Te Whiti Riser if you’re into hiking and want a view of Lower Hutt
- Take a tour in the Beehive Parliament
